She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Bower and Bertha Bower (Brockman); her husband Lawrence "Budd" Maxson; her son Dennis Maxson; her great grandchild Ashlee Coverstone; and her brother Ted Bower.
She is survived by: her son John Maxson of Crawfordville, FL; her sister Dorothy Milton of Crawfordville, FL; her granddaughters, Shelly Coverstone (Greg), Carri Jones (David) and Tiffany Jarrells (Matt); her niece Charlotte Clark; and her close friends, Phyllis Gerkey, Peggy Deatherage and Deb Clay. She is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
