We are sad to announce that on December 29, 2024, at the age of 93, Irene R. Thomas of Sidney, Ohio passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid adieu to Irene's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Irene has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Elwanger and Irene Elwanger (Dusa); and her sister Jeanne Reichard. She is survived by: her husband Robert M. Thomas. She is also survived by six children, 13 grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
