He was predeceased by: his parents, Alonzo Everett and Lena Elizabeth Ward (Flora); his children, Cheryl Diane Macey and James Everett Ward; and his siblings, Cecil Ward, Irene Spangler, Helen Watkins and Richard Ward.
He is survived by: his children, Sandy Wilkins (Steve) of Tennessee, Cindy Brown (Bill) of Sidney, Gene Ward (Genny Lawson) of Celina, Wayne Ward (Kathy) of Piqua and Carole Henry (Steve) of Andover; and his siblings, Mary Maxine Clark of Rosewood and Dale Ward of Quincy. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and many step-grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
