He was predeceased by: his parents, Irvle Johnson and Hazel Johnson (Snider); his son-in-law Michael Fahnestock; his brother Gary Johnson; and his siblings-in-law, Phyllis Morris, Marlene, Dottie Johnson, Herschel Morris, Gary and Rollin Brown.
He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Brown; his children, Jeffrey Johnson (Cathy) of Sidney, Lori Fahnestock (Dave Fleming) and John Johnson (Cheryl) of Botkins; his brothers, Edmund Johnson (Judy) of Sidney, Thomas Johnson (Georgiana) of Sidney and Irvle Johnson of Arizona; his sisters-in-law, Pat Johnson of West Chester and Vickie Smith of Piqua; and his close friends, Mike Bales and Buck Purtee. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren.
