He was predeceased by: his parents, Bessie VanFossen (Laws) and Andy VanFossen; and his brother Jack. He is survived by: his wife Sue; his children, Doug VanFossen (Wendy), Eric VanFossen and Angela VanFossen (Don Drabant); his grandchildren, Laura, John, Kate, Claire and Grace; and his great grandchildren, Nora, Lily, Theodore and Felicity.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Sidney First United Methodist Church to support the Alpha Center or the Community Fund.
