He was predeceased by: his parents, Garold North and Thelma North (Ray); his former wife Karen North; and his brother Philip North. He is survived by: his children, Jeff North of Sidney, Robb North of Port Jefferson and Lori Ganger (Jason) of Maplewood; his grandchildren, Jacob North (Kiarra), Collin Ganger (Courtney) and Cameron Ganger; his great grandchildren, Dakota and Wrenleigh; and his siblings, Jim North (Jennie) of New Mexico, Steve North (Martha) of Louisianna and Pam Rudy of Florida. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorial contributions may be made to Wilson Hospice Care in Gary's memory.
