He is survived by: his wife Barbara Ann (Smith) of Sidney; his children, Molly M. Wendel (Jody) of Celina, Ohio, Carrie L. Kinninger-Stott of New Carlisle, Ohio and Jay E. Kinninger (Tracy Douglas) of Sidney; his grandchildren, Madison, Tanner and Braxton Wendel of Celina; his children, William, Claire Stott of New Carlisle, Alexis, Isabella, Jace and Jaydon Kinninger of Sidney Ohio; his siblings, Tom Kinninger of Sidney, Dan Kinninger (Joyce) of Findlay, Dave Kinninger (Mary) of Troy, John Kinninger of Sidney, Carol Bowser (Guy) of Sidney, Pam Stewart (Russ) of Sidney and Darlene Clayton (Matt) of Sidney; and his parents-in-law, Robert Smith (Ann), Peggy Smith of Logan County and Carol Smith of Hamilton, Ohio.. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Alzheimer's and Parkinson's foundations.
