He was predeceased by: his parent Jerry Pinson; his wife Betty Jean Whitt; his siblings, Virginia Wheeler, Nancy Walls, Marge Turner, James Pinson and Ralph Pinson; and his granddaughter Stephanie Pinson.
He is survived by: his parent Martha Pinson (Dawson); his spouse Mabel Saylor; his children, Michael Pinson (Kathy), Steven Pinson (Pam), David Pinson (Kathy) of Nashville, Don Blair (Marge) of South Carolina and Jan Byram (Bill) of Arizona; and his grandchildren, Michelle Tidwell (Scott), Kim Titus (Mike), Bev Beard (Mark), Amy Murray (Andy), Priscilla Lockard (Josiah), Chad Allen (Jackie), Seth Allen (Kim), Luke Allen (Kristin), Melissa Sowers and Melinda Hopkins (Josh). He is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
