She was predeceased by: her parents, James Fess and Ruby Burns (Hamby) of Virginia; and her granddaughter Whitney Gross. She is survived by: her husband Jimmy "Doug" Howard; her children, Rocky Howard of Richmond, IN and Lisa Howard Long (Mark) of Sidney; her brother Gary Burns (Marilyn) of Sidney; and her grandchildren, Cassi, Ryder Gross, Lacelend Burdiss and Ronald Winemiller. She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
