She was predeceased by: her parents, Meredith M. "Buck" Jones and Zelma O. Jones (Thomason); her husband Bernard "Bernie" D. Cotterman; and her siblings, Peggy Sue MacKenzie and Bud Jones.
She is survived by: her children, Aleta Nisonger (Richard) and Steven Cotterman. She is also survived by six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
