With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Elaine I. Simons of Sidney, Ohio, born in Russia, Ohio, who passed away on September 26, 2022 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Louis Oldiges; her grandson Luke Bowman; her brothers, John (Marsha Oldiges) and Robert Oldiges (Tim Oldiges); her brother-in-law John Simons; her brother Ross; and her sisters-in-law, Norma Driskell and Marjorie Massey.
She is survived by: her husband James N. Simons; her children, Kimberly Bowman (Kevin) of Sidney, Michael J. Simons of Fairfield, Lisa Honaker (Tim) of Sidney, James B. Simons of Jacksonville, FL and Steven D. Simons of Sidney; her sister Donna Cornwell of Sidney; and her sister-in-law Joyce Simons. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
