He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick Llyod Hilyard and Martha Hilyard (Fanshier); his son Daniel Goings; and his sisters, Marty Lou Hilyard and Kathleen Albertson.
He is survived by: his girlfriend Patricia Goings; his children, Amy Binegar (Charles), Douglas Hilyard, Robert Hilyard (Amy), Josh Goings (Jennifer), Frederick Hilyard (Crystal), Melanie Sims, Adam Hilyard (Kelly) and Molly Hilyard; and his siblings, Rhody Peterson (Amos), Jay Hilyard (Brenda), Wava Cotterman, John Hilyard and Ed Hilyard. He is also survived by twenty-three grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren.
