She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert L. Gibbs and Dorothy J. Richardson Preston; and her spouse Delmar G. Hess. She is survived by: her daughters, Dorothy Janel Aistrop of Saltville, VA, Lula DeLaet (Brian) of Russia, OH and Jennifer Collins (Cody) of Roanoke, VA; her stepchildren, Belinda Bateman of Piqua, Shaun Hess of Piqua, Brenda Smith (Steve) of New Bremen and DeWayne Hess of Piqua; and her siblings, Nancy Creager (James) of Piqua, Coraliss Preston (Craig) of West Virginia, Walter Gibbs of Piqua, Roberta Black (David) of Piqua and Carlene Persinger of Piqua.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Shelby County Animal Shelter in Dorothy's memory.
