He was predeceased by: his parents, Sidney and Ruth Lee (Coates). He is survived by: his brother-in-law Phil Chilcote; his sister Arlene Chilcote (Phil); his nieces, Gretchen Heidemann-Whitt (Garland) of Los Angeles and Molly Heidemann-Kuth (Joe) of Cincinnati; his great-nieces, May Whitt and Cassie Kuth; and his pets, Travis, Irish Setter, Maggie and Labrador Retriever.
