He was predeceased by: his parents, Chalmer Eugene and Virginia Marie Fields (Schiff); and his brothers-in-law, Larry Mowrer and Joe Weinsteger. He is survived by: his wife Kathie Mowrer; his children, Jeff Fields (Christine) of Cumming, GA and Julia Huelskamp (Bill) of Sidney; his grandchildren, Raine Hoying, Shelby Hoying (Kennedy), Nicholas Huelskamp (Leslie), Lucas Fields, Alec Fields and Celia Fields (Jalen); his great grandchildren, Emery and Adalynn; his siblings-in-law, Linda Weinsteger and Steve Mowrer (Dollie); and his cousins, Charlie Marr (Terri), Pat Behagg, John Tennery and Dee Tennery (Carol).
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, February 14th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM. A funeral service was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. John's Lutheran Church (120 W Water St, Sidney, OH 45365). A burial was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 at the Pearl Cemetery (11095 County Rd 25A, Sidney, OH 45365).
