He was predeceased by: his daughter Carrie Roeth; his parents, Rev. Claude Chivington and Rev. Marilyn Chivington; and his sister Maribelle Bare (Daniel). He is survived by: his wife Roxy Chivington; his sons, Rev. Aaron (Sarah), Rev. Ryan (Betsy) and Nathan (Amy); his son-in-law Justin Roeth; and his sister Claudia Rode (Gary).
Visitation was held on Monday, April 14th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Tuesday, April 15th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Sidney First Methodist Church (230 E Poplar St, Sidney, OH 45365). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 15th 2025 at 5:00 PM at the Sidney United Methodist Church (230 E Poplar St, Sidney, OH 45365).
