With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Daniel Walter Schloss of Sidney, Ohio, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 4, 2025 at the age of 72. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Schloss and Helen Schloss (Andrews); his wife Rebecca "Becky" Schmiesing; his grandson Ethan Bensman; his sister Jeannie Olding; and his brother-in-law Tony Schmiesing.
He is survived by: his children, Robert Schloss (Jessica) of Troy, Sheila Bensman (Randy) of Sidney and Scott Schloss (Amber) of Anna; his grandchildren, Alyssa Duckro (Colton), Ryan Schloss, Reagan Schloss, McKinley Schloss, Kyle Bensman, Henry Bensman and Oliver Bensman; and his sisters, Carol Schloss, Sherri Clay (Brent), Diane Nerderman (Ralph), Betty Hatfield (Carl), Terri Huelskamp (Don) and Christine Brandewie (Ted).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Wilson Health Hospice in Daniel's honor.
