She was predeceased by: her parent Lewis Roscoe; her sister Patsy Line Watkins of Lakeview; her siblings-in-law, Erle Loffer (Connie) of Gahanna, Betty Kendall (Ailes) of Anna and Marjorie Hittepole of DeGraff; her son David L.; and her sisters-in-law, Frederick "Tunks", Lawrence "Bud" (Marjorie Behr), Joe Kendall, Stephan Kendall (Kim Knight), Gerald Line and Bruce Watkins.

She is survived by: her parent Edna Marie Kendall (Wilt); her spouse Dale E. Hittepole; her daughters, Carol M. Knight (Kent) of Sidney, Nancy L. Hittepole of Bellbrook, Jan E. Purifoy (Dana) of Lancaster, Kathy J. Vogler (Bob) and Karen S. Goffena (Thomas) of Sidney; and her close friend Barbara Balata. She is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
