She was predeceased by: her parents, William F. Knief and Ruth L. Knief (Regula); and her husband Lester F. Helmlinger. She is survived by: her children, Vivian House (Brian) of Troy, John P. Helmlinger of Sidney, Susan Seeker (Tim) of Sidney and Alison Helmlinger of Sidney; her sisters, Sharon Collar of Lima, Linda Jenkins (Richard) of Jackson Center and Ruth Halpin (Chris) of Sidney; and her sister-in-law Waneta Helmlinger of Wapakoneta. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren.
