It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Chester Raymond Hughes of Sidney, Ohio, who passed away on February 22, 2022, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Taylor and Mary Catherine Hughes (Stengel); his daughter Gail Case; and his grandson Zachary Pretsman. He is survived by: his wife Patsy Cox; his children, Pam Mosier (Jim) of Sidney, Chester Alan Sr. Hughes (Joyce) of Maplewood, Sandra Tidd (Todd) of Anna, Darrell Hughes (Anita) of Maplewood and Fred Hughes (Debby) of Maplewood; and his sister Dorothy Burton of Deleware, OH. He is also survived by fifteen grandchildren; twenty great-grandchildren.
