With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Charles Eugene Browning of Sidney, Ohio, born in Saltville, Virginia, who passed away on October 15, 2022 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie Victor and Hannah Alice Browning (Goff); his children, Marilya Alice Browning and Robert Browning; his grandson Jimmy Browning; his sister Anna May O'Quinn; his grandmothers, Barnes, Rosella Lowe and Joyce Weyhrauch; and his brothers, Ray, Howard, Raymond, Claude and Luther.
He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Van Hook; his sons, Randy Browning, Tim Browning of Sidney, Allen Browning (Dee) of Murfreesboro, TN and Jim Browning (Lisa) of Murfreesboro, TN; his stepdaughters, Vivian Thorington of Fulton, MS and Freda Johnson of Anna; and his grandchildren, Joey, Tosha, Maranda, Kohl, Noah, Jacob, Nevaeh, Mat, Mike and Myah. He is also survived by thirteen great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews that he dearly loved and lots of family and friends.
