It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carol Bowman of Sidney, Ohio, born in Stearns, Kentucky, who passed away on November 16, 2021, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Swain and Gertie Swain (Coffey); her spouse Hollen V. Bowman; her siblings, Betty Jo Ball and Joe Darrel Swain; her son-in-law Jack Deatherage; and her great grandchild Ashlee Coverstone.
She is survived by: her daughters, Peggy Deatherage of Sidney and Debra Kendall (John) of Sidney; her brother Harold Swain (Jeanette) of Oxford, OH; and her grandchildren, Shelly Coverstone (Greg), Brian Kendall (Kristy), Amy Jones (Robert), Charles Deatherage, Samuel Deatherage and Brandon Kendall. She is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
