He was predeceased by: his parents, John Heatherly and Nannie Heatherly (Bailey); his son Chris Heatherly; and his sons-in-law, John Grunkemeyer Jr., Billy and Stolle Corporation.
He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Jane Williamson; his daughters, Pages Smith (Lloyd), Jarla Hockaday (Mike) and Shaundra Grunkemeyer; and his half-brother Bobby Joe Pryor. He is also survived by 22 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren.
