She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward McDermitt and Mary McDermitt; her husband Bobby L. Nation; her son Eddie Nation; and her sister Lillie Gibbons.
She is survived by: her children, Christina Melchor (Danny Black) of Union City, OH and John Travis Shurts (Melanie) of Sidney.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 8th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Cromes-Edwards Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc. (302 S Main Ave, Sidney, OH 45365). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 9th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
