He was predeceased by: his parents, David James and Edna James (Varnes); his siblings, Jim Mullet, Bud James (Rosie), Blake James and Mildred Bowen (Sam); his brothers-in-law, Rudy Cooper Sr., Jim Hendershott and Roger Randall; his niece Patty Sidle (Merle); his nephew David Cooper; and his great-niece Harli Cooper.
He is survived by: his siblings, Roger James (Judy) of Shreve, Zella Cooper of Shreve and Ann Hendershott of Big Prairie; and his sister-in-law Mary Lou Mullet of Big Prairie. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews, and many good friends.
