He was predeceased by: his parents, Olen Ellis and Dorothy Ellis (Hile); and his brother Robert Ellis. He is survived by: his wife Barbara J. Scott (Sommers); his son Nicholas Ellis of Canton; his stepson Jeffrey Scott of Cambodia; and his sister-in-law Sheila Ellis of Lakeville.
The family suggests memorial contributions in Al's name to the Wooster Community Hospital Behavioral Health Services, the Counseling Center of Wayne & Holmes Counties or any of the many other behavioral health services available.
