He was predeceased by: his parents, Dave Jr. Laney and Millie Frances Laney (Tackett); his daughter Brittney Laney; and his brothers, David and Jeffrey Laney.
He is survived by: his children, Nicole Kirby (Brian), Sheena Hummell (John), Jennifer Adams (Justin) and Destiny Beck (Bradley); and his siblings, Terry Laney (Tammy) and Debra Burton (Ron). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
