Norma Shirlene Sowders Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Norma Shirlene Sowders of Shiloh, Ohio, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 31, 2024 at the age of 90. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Norma Shirlene Sowders to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Emmett Alfrey and Lela Alfrey (Skaggs); her husband Fredrick "Fred" F. Sowders; her siblings, Wanda Phillips, Gerald Alfrey and Gene Alfrey; and her son-in-law John Garrett.
She is survived by: her daughter Sheryl Garrett; her grandchildren, Shane Garrett, Ben Garrett (Ariel), Thomas Bradford (Jessica) and Angela Bowen (Martin); her great grandchildren, Hunter Garrett, Peyton Garrett, Reagan Garrett, Zander Garrett, Easton Bradford and Jensen Bradford; and her sister-in-law Gay Gillum. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Secor Funeral Home (35 Railroad St, Plymouth, OH 44865). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Avita Home Health and Hospice or Apostolic Faith Assembly in Mansfield, Ohio.
