He was predeceased by: his father Carl Deskins; his daughter Shawna Deskins; and his siblings, Rose Mullins, Sammie Deskins, Ernie Deskins, Juanita Oney and De-Wayne Sparkman.
He is survived by: his significant other Cheryl Howard; his daughters, Kathie Craft (Joe), Christina Reed and Keera Williams; his stepchildren, Kim Howard, Jason Howard, Chris Howard and Kendra Howard; his half-brother Roger Deskins; and his stepsister Lisa McGlothlin (Rose). He is also survived by six grandsons and three granddaughters.
