She was predeceased by: her mother Charity Shepherd Lacy; her husband Melvin Hamons; her brother Charles Bo Lacy; and her stepsons, Melvin Ray, Doyle J and Lyle R. Hamons.
She is survived by: her children, Josh Hamons (Gwen) of Bellevue, Jon Hamons and Sissy Kuhn (Rory) of Shiloh, Ohio; her daughter-in-law Linda Hamons of Bellevue, Ohio; her siblings, Carolyn Chaddock, Rita Tolle, Ronald Lacy, Glen Lacy, James Lacy, Gary Lacy, Duane Lacy and Todd Lacy; and her stepdaughter Debra Stahl. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
