He was predeceased by: his father Harold Oney; his son Robert Oney Jr.; and his brother Steven Young. He is survived by: his mother Fern Oney (Haney); his wife Sheeree; his children, Kenny Oney, Brandi Oney (Chaarish), Amber Cook (Mike), Randee Mosley, Nathan Oney (Jonise), Stephani Mosely, Savanna Mosley and Destinee Oney; and his brothers, David Oney, Brad Young (Debbie), Lewis Caison and Mike Young (Christy). He is also survived by sixteen grandchildren, and a great-granddaughter.
