He is survived by: his children, Richard A. Smith, Jr. of Sherwood, OH, Michael Smith (Becky) of Defiance, Wanda Hicks of Charloe, OH and Brenda Stephens (Curt) of Florida; and his siblings, James Smith (Elaine), Dee Watson and Anthony Smith. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild.
