With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Richard Ayers of Sherwood, Ohio, who passed away on January 31, 2021 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Ayers and Mary Ayers (Schudel). He is survived by: his wife Linda Ayers (Jackman) of Sherwood; his children, Terry Ayers (Melissa) of Ft. Wayne, IN, Steven Ayers (Michele) of Hicksville, OH, Matthew Ayers of Sherwood and Amy Cox of Decatur, IN.; and his siblings, Larry Ayers (Debbi), Robert Ayers (Patti), Danny Ayers (Catherine) and Vicki Hanna (Tom) of Defiance, Ohio.. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be private, with Rev. Daniel Broaddus officiating. Due to the pandemic, masks and social distancing are required to enter the funeral home.
