He is survived by: his brother Claude; his wife Flossie Chafin (Elliott); and his sons, John D. Chafin (Cheryl) of Ney, OH, Les K. Chafin (Kris) of Huntington and Michael B. Chafin (Kathy) of Girard, IL.. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren, twenty six great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
