She was predeceased by: her parents, Jesse Hugh and Freeda Mae Ashcraft (Roberts); her former husband Charles Carter; her husband Roger Ernsberger; her son Rick Carter; her great grandchild Megan Ohl; her stepchildren, Charles Ernsberger of Concord, NC and Carol Enrsberger; her stepdaughter-in-law Wendy Ernsberger; and her siblings, Hazel Trueblood (Roy), Ann Horn (Bill), Lucille Wade (Orvel), Bernice Fines (Wayne), Mae Carter, Quince, Wolford, Wayne, Jesse and Daniel Ashcraft.
She is survived by: her son Ronald "Jake" Carter (Becky) of Howard, OH; her stepchildren, Rita Eldridge (Jerry) of Shelby and Daniel Ernsberger of Shelby; her daughter-in-law Joni Carter (Rex); her grandchildren, Andi Poiner (Darrel), Chuck Carter, Kristin Mays (Mark), John Carter (Nicole), Jodie Ohl (Mark), Julie Thomas (Derrick), Casey Carter (Gabriella), John Eldridge (Sharon), Jeff Eldridge (Abby), Jerry Eldridge (Tina), Donna Eldridge Brooks, Cathy Pacsuta (Jim), Danny Ernsberger (Terra), Eric Ernsberger (Tonya) and Carol Ernsberger; and her brother-in-law Jim Carter of Owensburg, Indiana.. She is also survived by 23 great grandchildren; one great-great grandson.
