He was predeceased by: his parents, Wayne A. Copeland and Onalee "Lee" Copeland (Nevinger); and his wife Wyona J. Copeland (Conner). He is survived by: his children, Linda Weber of Georgia, Scott Copeland (Jane) of Morrow, Craig Copeland (Laura) of Shelby and Kurt Copeland (Sheila) of Shelby; his grandchildren, Travis Weber, Erin Weber, Sarah Patrick (Matthew), Kristin Reed (John), Brad Copeland (Carlson), Courtney Copeland (Alex Hill) and Carter Copeland (Mallory Moore); his great grandchildren, Kiah Weber, Brantley, Madelyn, Rhett Patrick, Leah, Mason Reed and Lawrence "Wren" Copeland; and his in-laws, Barb Cramer (Bob), Ronnie Smith (Nan) and Jerry Smith (Linda).
