He was predeceased by: his parents, Homer Schneider and Nellie Schneider (Craig); his daughter Debra Ann Schneider; and his siblings, Eugene Schneider (Lois), George Schneider and Kathryn Lockwood (Charles).

He is survived by: his wife Florence Schneider (Whisler); his children, Sheree Lynn Trimmer of Willard, Janet Kay Adams (Jeffery) of Shelby and Steven Ray Schneider (Lori) of Shelby; his grandchildren, Shelly Axline (Derek), Tiffany Fry (Aaron), Tracy Smith (Nick), Taylor Schneider and Brandon Schneider; his great grandchildren, Addyson Riley, Brady, Bailey, Ben Axline, Gage Sherck, Cole and Ella Smith; and his sister-in-law Nancy Schneider.
