It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Walter Tackett Jr. of Shelby, Ohio, born in Willard, Ohio, who passed away on July 3, 2023, at the age of 65, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Tackett and Josephine "Josie" Tackett (Collins); his wife Theresa; his sisters, Irene Hall and Donna Roberson; and his nephew Eddie Francis, Jr..
He is survived by: his siblings, Dallas Tackett (Deanna) of Mt. Vernon, Maddie Dowell of Shelby, Darlene Carpenter (Ron) of Shiloh, David Tackett (Christine) of Jacksonville, FL and William Tackett of Wendell, NC; and his close friend Jason Marietta. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.
