It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Virginia Scott of Shelby, Ohio, born in Greenwich, Ohio, who passed away on August 22, 2020, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Grover Shepherd and Eva Shepherd (Wireman); her husband Joseph James "Jay" Scott; and her brothers, Denver and Lester Shepherd.
She is survived by: her sons, Tom (Gaylene Scott), Dr. Tim (Karen Scott) and Terry Scott of Idaho; her grandchildren, Christopher Scott (Megan), Curt Scott (Rebecca), Sarah Kendrick (Kevin), Todd Scott, Joel Scott (Jaqulynn), Timothy Scott II (Jessy), Jason Scott (Allison) and Jessica Scott; and her sister-in-law Elsie Shepherd of Shelby. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Trinity United Methodist Church at 209 E. Main Street, Shelby, OH 44875.
