He was predeceased by: his father James W. Corbitt, Sr.; and his stepfather Robert Newman of Arizona. He is survived by: his mother Lera Newman (Delong); his close friend Melinda "Missy" Yarborough; his children, James Corbitt (Tabitha Ellinger) of Shelby, Ashley Corbitt of Tempe, AZ, Todd Corbitt II of Mansfield, Sgt. Steven Miczek (Summer Mowry) of Camp LeJune, NC and Sandra Henderson (Brian) of Ashland; his grandchildren, Kaydance, Cheyenne, Chelsea, Cameron, Allen, Gunner, Owen, Lilian, Chanell and Ellie; and his siblings, Denise Roach of Texas, Dana Mathews of Kentucky and James Corbitt (Steve Marino) of Arizona. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
In place of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to, the Warthogs Motorcycle Club.
