He was predeceased by: his parents, Glenn F. Bendle and Sally Bendle (McGill); his uncle Gerald Bendle; and his aunts, Carol Belsterli and Janice Bendle Clark.
He is survived by: his wife Cheryl (Armstrong); his stepchildren, Bryan Smith (Sophia) of Little Rock, AF, Lori Thornton (Dean) of Plymouth, Jason Smith (Sandy) of Mansfield and Ashley Davis of Upper Sandusky; his sister Cathy Ferguson; his brother-in-law Terry Ferguson of Shelby; his nephews, Heath and Nicholas Hummel of Columbus; and his aunts, Alice Bendle and Pat Faulkner. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
