He was predeceased by: his father Maurice Cooke. He is survived by: his wife Aida Cooke (DeGuzman); his children, Ron Cooke Jr. of Wooster, Lance Cooke (Andrea) of Shelby and Amanda Cooke of Perrysburg; his grandchildren, Codi, Chase, Madisyn, Dylan, Hayden and Grayson; his brother Tom Cooke (Linda) of Shelby; his nieces, Renae Holland (Joel) of Mansfield and Wendy Messner (Matt) of Illinois; and his nephew Samuel Cooke (Meghan) of Mt. Vernon. He is also survived by numerous cousins and other relatives.
