He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Kleer and Katherine Kleer (Walbert); his wife Faye A. Kleer (Ball); and his daughters, Marie Brown and Vicky Schumacher.
He is survived by: his children, Steven Griffith of Mansfield, Julie Pettit (Jay) of Shelby, Mark Griffith (Roseann) of Shenandoah, Wendy R. Kleer of South Carolina, Robert W. "Rob" Kleer, II (Karen) of Michigan and Randy Kleer of South Carolina; his son-in-law Jim Brown of Mansfield; and his siblings, Gene Kleer (Bonnie) of Florida and Darlene Adkins of Ontario. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren.
