He was predeceased by: his father Walter Friebel; and his wife Berniece "Mickey" Friebel (Albert). He is survived by: his children, Becky Morris (Victor) of Shelby, Shelly Gwirtz (Mike) of O'Neals, CA, Mark Friebel (Julie) of Shelby and Denise Carriere of Shelby; his grandchildren, Nikki Fortman (Jason), Heidi Hoffman (Josh), Abby Payne (Jeff), Richele Bruno (John), Joshua Gwirtz (Katrina), Terra Edris (Brad), Michael Friebel, Danny Friebel, Alana Wagoner (Eddie), Joe Carriere (Jayde) and Jacob Carriere; his siblings, Tina Cooper and Raphael "Butch" Friebel; his sister-in-law Glenda Friebel; his son-in-law Paul Carriere; and his siblings, Roman Friebel, Marie Maier, Wally Friebel, Bob Friebel and Gerald "DoDo" Friebel. He is also survived by 16 great grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Mary School, Shelby Y, or OhioHealth Hospice and left in care of the funeral home.
