In loving memory of Rhonda K. (Steele) Borgelt of Shelby, Ohio, who departed this world on January 23, 2025 at the age of 61. Rhonda K. leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. She was predeceased by: her brother John E. Steele Jr.; and her father-in-law Jim Borgelt. She is survived by: her mother Evelyn L. Steele (Cole); her husband Duane D. Borgelt; her children, Sarah and Joseph; her father John Sr. Steele; her sisters, Rita Moore (Ken) and Anita Stevens (Roy); her mother-in-law Betty Borgelt; her close friend Karen Calino; and also Sarah Jordan. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, January 27th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church (5741 State Rte 61, Shelby, OH 44875).
Memorial contributions may be made to the family, in care of Duane Borgelt, which will be used as a fund to benefit the arts, children's literacy, and other organizations which were passions of Rhonda's.
