With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Rebecca Jergens of Shelby, Ohio, born in Columbus, Ohio, who passed away on November 4, 2021 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Korns and Helen Korns (Van Pelt); her husband Herbert Jergens; and her brothers, David Korns and Joseph Korns.
She is survived by: her son Josh Jergens (Leslie) of Shelby; her sister Sarah Korns of Shelby; her sister-in-law Sally Barnett (Tim) of Zanesville; her nieces and nephews, Rachael Hartzler (Jace) of Hilliard, Elizabeth Renner (Josh) of New Philadelphia, Tyler Korns (Cortney) of Reynoldsburg and Jamal Johnson (Kaylee Schweitzer) of Dover; her grandchildren, Mackenzie and Issac Jergens; her great-nieces and great-nephews, Owen, Olivia, Aries Hartzler, Jaxson, Carter, Madison Renner, Elijah, Landon and Asher Korns; and her close friends, Phillip, Eloise Barnett and Jackie Barnett.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Dave Korns Memorial Scholarship in care of the Quaker Foundation at 124 N Broadway St. New Philadelphia, OH 44663.
