He is survived by: his wife Shelby Jean Deaver Ruggles; his children, Martin Ruggles and Penny Johnson; his daughter-in-law Margaret Ruggles; and his sister Sharon Queen. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren.
