He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Carson and Hattie Pearl Carson; and his siblings, Lela George, Martha Christen, Betty Moore, Sarah Haney, Alice Thomas and Richard Carson (Dick).
He is survived by: his children, Scott and Cathy; his grandchildren, Andrew Carson (Kelsey), Derek Carson, Aaron Carson, Sophia Carson, Jordann, Jackie, Carson Garrett, Benny and Cameron; his sisters, Mary Lois Banfield of Culver, IN and Bertha Dill of Charleston, SC; and also Brian.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the James Cancer Hospital and Research Institute at The Ohio State University.
