He was predeceased by: his father Albert E.; and his son Jeffery Rita. He is survived by: his wife Crystal (Newman); his son Anthony Rita (Heather); his stepchildren, Deborah Spangler (Gary) of Shelby, Jill Blunt (James) of Shelby, Amber Burkett (Christopher) of Ashland and Jeffrey Kime of Lima; and his sister Jackie Montgomery (Lionel) of Avon Lake. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren.
In place of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, or Kindred Hospice.
