He was predeceased by: his parents, Talmadge Ray and Jeanie D. Lewis (Coffey); his wife Ardell; his son Steve Lewis; and his siblings, Lenora Lewis, Richard Lewis, Raymond Lewis, Ray Lewis, Faye Callahan, McKee Lewis and Otis Lewis.
He is survived by: his daughters, Brenda Sweet (Phil) of Bailey Lakes and Sheila Metzger (Paul) of Shelby; his grandchildren, Heather Manley (Mike), Jeremy Sweet (Paige), Kristina Parrigan (Dan), Angela Kimmel, Trisha Tenpenny and Rachel Westler (Keith); his great grandchildren, Ashlyn, Paige, Brevin, Cheyenne, Blake, Austin, Lauren, Felicia, Gwyn, Lydia, Owen, Dylan, Isaac, Evalyn, Mallorie and Nicholas; his great great grandchildren, Zella and Zion; his siblings, Anna Mae Lewis (Marion), Marcella Bradford, Carl Lewis (Sue), Junior Lewis (Debbie), David Lewis (Joyce) and Marie Wisecup (Rick); his friend Kendall Lykins; and his nephew Herbert Duane Lewis. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Northcutt & Son Home For Funerals (400 Fraley Dr, Morehead, KY 40351). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
